We believe that robotics is for everyone!
FIRST Ability is a collaborative initiative we started during the 2024/25 season as an effort to advocate for accommodations and accessibility for people with physical or invisible disabilities in our community and FRC spaces. We hope that amplifying the voices of people with disabilities within STEAM will help every student with an interest in FRC find their place to learn and thrive.
Crochet Critters For Kids
We are overjoyed to have partnered with Bethel Ministries International, "an inter-denominational 501c3 Wheelchair Ministry that provides mobility to the disabled in Guatemala. Through home construction, food distribution and educational sponsorship..." for our 2024-2025 season to provide underprivileged kids in Guatemala with hand made stuffed animals, or as we like to call them, crochet critters. Each critter was made with love by FIRST students, mentors, volunteers, and parents; we could not be more grateful for their participation and excitement over this initiative that we were able to bring with us to our District Competitions, District Championship, and Worlds!
